Officials Provide Updates On Deadly Mass Shooting at Church in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan
Officials provided updates Monday afternoon on the Sunday morning mass shooting and fire at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan
Four people were killed and eight others injured in the attack, in which law enforcement says a gunman drove a pickup truck into the church, opened fire on congregants, and set the church ablaze. The gunman, who has been identified as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford, was killed by police responding to the attack.
The eight injured in the attack and taken to Henry Ford Genesys Hospital ranged in ages from 6 to 78 years old, with five treated for gunshot wounds and three for smoke inhalation.
