Lettering Added to Obama Presidential Center Ahead of June Opening

Lettering has been added to the Museum Building at the Obama Presidential Center, spelling out an excerpt from the former president’s 2015 speech in Selma, Alabama, that marked the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches.

The center, located on a 19.3-acre site on the South Side of Chicago, is expected to open in June of this year. The project has been under construction since 2021
