Canadian Freighter Stuck in Detroit River

A ship bound for Quebec is stuck in the Detroit River after running aground yesterday near downtown Detroit

No injuries were reported from the incident

The Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin, as the ship is known, is over 700 feet in length, and is one of Canada Steamship Lines’ self-unloading vessels. The ship was traveling between Sault Ste. Marie and Quebec
